Southern
Taiwan University of Science and Technology and Universite Paris XII, France
cooperated in organizing the Summer Chinese Study Group. This event has lasted
for four year, with a total of 52 Chinese students coming for the first three
years to Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology study Chinese and
experience Taiwanese culture. Through this activity, the friendship between the
two universities has been greatly developed. This year a total of 31 French
students came to participate in an 8-week Chinese study group.
