Ⅰ.Purpose of the establishment of the research center

Information technology now a days is advancing with each passing day, but in the cultivation of industrial talents, it is facing the problem of insufficient cultivation capacity. As a result, the industry always lacks suitable talents to help enterprises in the application and update of information technology in the introduction and application of new technologies.

In view of this, the center was established with the purpose of cultivating professional e-talents needed by the industry, which includes four core technologies and energies: SAP S/4 HANA, iCoder intelligent programming, Block Chain Services and Smart eVision which sets up Enterprise Situation Room. Through the promotion of information technology teaching to cultivate relevant talents, in order to achieve the goal of teaching, internship, employment, and industry-university cooperation is our teaching purpose.

Ⅱ. Tasks of the Research Center

A. internal and external courses offered

• Cultivate future talents: Offer courses such as SAP S/4 HANA, iCoder, Block Chain, etc. for students on campus.

• Industry function improvement: ERP, iCoder and other courses are offered for people who are working or transferring outside the school.

• Down roots education: ERP start-up seed teacher programs for high school classes serving teachers, E-business concept will take root down to the younger students.

B. Discernible rationale license exam

The center is authorized by the National Central University ERP Society to establish the only cloud certification center in Tainan. Through the establishment of this center, teaching and certification exams are more closely linked. By holding enterprise E-based professional certification exams every semester, learning effectiveness is confirmed by the professional license, which also allows the students to get extra points on the resume, and enhances the employment competitiveness of the students.

C. Student Practice and Employment Matching

The center regularly sends students to the National Central University ERP Society,

HAND, Taiwan MTC and other companies to do ERP consultant internships every year, and actively builds bridges between schools and companies, expands students' opportunities to learn ERP, and values SAP's actual combat capabilities.

In addition, every semester, the center also tries to match outstanding students to get jobs in good companies, so as to narrow the gap between companies that can’t find suitable talents and students who can’t find good jobs.

D. Cooperation Project

Assist companies in developing professional WorkFlow systems, and provide education and training courses tailored to the needs of the company.

D. Supply Finance BlockChain

Blockchain is the world’s largest digital currency technology. It has been widely used in the financial industry. Its decentralization, non-modification and anti-counterfeiting features make the blockchain one of the world’s top 10 emerging technologies in the future, and it also attracts attention which has been paid to medical, insurance, education, manufacturing, retail, logistics and other industries, and then blockchain technology has been introduced into different industries for a wide range of applications.

Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology is leading other domestic colleges and universities. In addition to incorporating blockchain into formal teaching courses, it also issues digital currencies circulated in the market. The center has also developed a financial blockchain system of teaching for students to learn.
