Dean

    Dean Jen-peng Huang holds a Ph.D. in computer science from The University of Oklahoma, a master's degree in computer science from The University of Oklahoma, and a bachelor's degree in information engineering from Tatung University. His expertise is in big data analysis, Data Mining, data visualization and analysis, database management, object-oriented programming, e-commerce analysis, mobile commerce analysis, etc.
    Before becoming the dean of the School of Business and Management, Dean Huang served as the deputy provost of the school's Academic Affairs Office, the deputy director of the school's Big Data and School Affairs Research Center (the director of the center is concurrently served by the president), and director of the Information Management Department. While serving as the deputy director of the Big Data and School Affairs Research Center, he planned and established the school's "School Affairs Research Information Platform" to provide the school with information basis for decision-making in future school affairs development. He has written books such as "Analysis of UNIX System and C Shell Programming", "Database Theory - Using Oracle", "Taiwan School Affairs Research Theory and Technology - Chapter 5 - Basic Concepts of Databases and Systems", and 45 journal articles. In addition, he has the "ISO 14064-1 Greenhouse Gas Inventory Standard Lead Verifier" certified by the Industrial Technology Research Institute, the "Cloud Technology Information Manager" certified by the Industrial Technology Research Institute, the "Data Analytics" certified by ICDL, and the "Internet of Things" certified by ICDL (Internet of Things)", "ITIL Foundation Examination (Version 3)" certified by APM GROUP's, "Linux Basic Operation" certified by ITE Information Professionals of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, "Linux Advanced System Management" certified by ITE Information Professionals of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, "Linux Maintenance and Operation Management Professional" certified by ITE Information Professionals of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, "Professional Mobile Device Application Engineer", "Mobile Device Application Design Certification", "Internet of Things Smart Application and Technology", "Enterprise Electronic Planner" , "Enterprise Electronic Data Analyst", "CRM Customer Relationship Management Product Analyst", "EBA E-Commerce Management Analyst" and other nearly 60 professional certificate certifications related to the ICT industry.
 
The College of Business was accredited by AACSB in May 2017.
The College of Business passed the AACSB Continuous Improvement Review (CIR) in February 2022.
