of Leisure, Recreation, and Tourism Management, Southern Taiwan University of
Science and Technology, participated in the first UPLAN Cup Fantasy Journey
Planning Contest, organized by Cool Point Campus and Travel World. Led by Prof.
Mei Ling Ko, the team chose “When I-BON are together) as the theme of their
travel plan, with their market focused on the main Singapore reward tourist
groups. Their plan featured Taiwan's three major characteristics of the
culture--aboriginal culture, Hakka culture, and cultural creativity—and
designed a five-day travel itinerary with unique and creative incentives. They
outdistanced 116 groups from all over the island and won the second place with
their brilliant performance.
