Yu-Shiang Hung from the Department of Hospitality Management, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, has recently traveled to Melbourne, Australia, to participate in the 2019 Global Skills Challenge sponsored by WorldSkills Australia and TAFE NSW Research Institute. Under the guidance of Prof. Shu-Yi Huang, Hung won the silver medal in the competition. After listed among the top five in the North, Central and Southern Divisions last year, followed by the fierce competition in the national skill competition, Hung passed the second stage of the national selection competition and finally won the bakery production category.
