In order to promote international academic exchanges, 11 teachers and students from Eismowe University in Japan visited Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology. Students came to make reports in both the Chinese and Japanese, not only sharing ideas and making international exchange, but also experiencing such activities as making spring rolls and taking Taiwanese tea ceremony for a day trip. Students from the two universities enhanced their mutual understanding and teach each other about their languages. It is greatly hoped that through these exchanges, teachers and students of the two universities will have a better understanding, and the future will see the two universities making more extensive exchanges.

With Eismowe University, STUST has the most profound friendship. Through this visit, there will be more exchanges of students and teachers between the two schools; it is particularly desirable that Eismowe University will send more students to Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology. During the visit, the Japanese teachers and students were warmly welcomed, brought to see the campus of STUST and enact exchanges between the two universities in terms of educational concepts.
